Choosing Your Bird Aviary

For people looking to purchase such particular birds such as amazons or grey parrots, then it is suggested that you look for a moderate sized aviary. Most people who own these types of birds more often than not aim to train them so that the aviary becomes uncalled-for. But for the first few months while the bird is still young it is advisable to keep it in a medium sized cage, it should be big enough that the bird or birds have enough freedom to move around.

Aviaries can take up a large area so before you go out and buy one you really need to make sure there is adequate space in your back yard! Also instead of buying an aviary, why not to build one? It will save you heaps of money, a good place to start for cheap materials is at the scrap yard.
